I found this interesting story on an eROI study titled, “Email Marketing, On the Go.” I thought it had some interesting findings. One of the main points that made sense once pointed out but one that I hadn’t really considered was the fact that if you send out a eDM in the afternoon majority of users will be accessing this via a mobile device. This is interesting because we can then target more direct emails to these people who obviously will be mobile in a different way, compared to people who we know, during the week between 9-5, will probably be sitting in front of a computer.
