Three-stories Tall for Qld Cricket Launch
As the beginning of the KFC-sponsored Big Bash League 20Twenty Cricket season approaches, your favourite Sydney (and now open in Brisbane!) digital creative agency has been working hard to promote the new Queensland representative team in an effort to hype up the coming competition and increase spectator numbers Nationally.
Working with cricket great Matthew Hayden, the campaign has just begun to roll out and starts with a three-story high Brisbane Heat mural wrapped around a warehouse next to The Gabba – the team’s home ground. In the next few weeks, and months you’ll also see the roll-out of a TV commercial, viral video’s of impossible cricket feats, and a supporting print campaign.
But what’s driving the hoo-haa for the team is the social media strategy we’ve put in place that’s seen their Facebook page rocket to 4 times the size of the nearest competitor. PS. the mural was painted by street artists Mr. Perso and Sirum1, which formed the basis for the TV spot. Check out more work and the full story that was on Mumbrella today here.
