IAB Finalists 2011
The 2011 IAB Award Finalists have been announced and Pusher has placed in 2 categories for 2 new clients – Goodlife Health Clubs and Cheezels. Securing one of the top 4 positions in the Direct Response and Lead Generation category was well celebrated by the Queensland based chain of gyms with the announcement today coinciding with the appointment of Pusher to lead another high profile (yet so be announced) Queensland digital account. Our second finalist for 2011 is in the Best use Social Media Marketing category (a category we won back in 2009) for the Facebook and social media King – Cheezels ‘Big Cheeze’. Starting less than a year ago the social media only campaign has grown the Australian brand page to be one of the largest on Facebook. Of the agency haul a few biggies including White and Droga5 nabbed three finalist entries each, and DDB four, while Pusher, George Patterson Y&R, Maxus, 303 and MediaCom all scored two each. Others who gained a finalist spot include Soap, Deepend, The Farm Digital, Profero, Publicis Mojo, Visual Jazz, Host and Naked Communications. The IAB Awards aim to recognise innovative and effective online advertising and marketing campaigns in the past 12 months across 12 categories. The winners will be announced at the IAB Awards ceremony at Sydney’s Carriageworks on 28 July.
